The Snuggy Waterproof Tail Bag, is quick and easy to use and can be worn in the stable, field, at a show or for travelling - helping to keep your horse or pony's tail clean, dry and tidy.
Waterproof Tail Bag has been cleverly designed to be used with either traditionally plaited, pulled or full tails. A nifty central Velcro strap is threaded through the plaited tail (below the dock) to secure the bag, and then an elasticised toggle pulls around the tail at the top of the bag for added security.
The toggle system helps prevent any muck, mud, forage or bedding getting into the bag, but also allows owners with horses that have extra long tails to 'loop' the bag back up in half, to prevent it dragging on the floor or being trodden on. This also means it's suitable for use when riding at home or warming up at a show as the Waterproof Tail Bag is folded up out the way. A Velcro opening allows the bottom of the bag to be opened so that the tail can be guided through by hand, therefore ensuring the tail is kept smooth and tangle free when fitting.
The unique design of the Waterproof Tail Bag ensures that the majority of the tail is covered, allowing owners to continue bandaging the top half of the tail for protection or finish. Because the tail does not have to be plaited for use, it saves time and fuss as well as leaving the horse with smooth, clean, kink free locks. As the dock is not covered the Waterproof Tail Bag can be left on for longer periods and is safe to use out in the field.
